Every year it takes 3 to 4kg of rose petals to create just 1 gram of our Bulgarian organic Rose oil. The collection (only by hand) of Rose petals starts in time honoured fashion at dawn, as before sunrise in late May and June you capture the roses at their most potent whilst dew is cooling the air and the flowers have not fully opened.
