Increasingly there are a number of products claiming to be or to contain organic essential oils. These range significantly in price and quality and are commonly found in high street skin care, cosmetics, aromatherapy, and other products.
Many of these products do not use 100% pure essential oils, often using synthetic chemical fragrant substitutes to dilute or replace more expensive essential oil extracts.

Over the years ageing begins to slow down the regenerative processes in the skin. Fibroblasts reduce the production of collagen and elastin, which give skin its rounded contours and firmness. The network of collagen and elastin fibres in the dermis, begin to change and loses its elasticity leading to sagging skin and wrinkles. This process is irreversible, but with the correct skin care it can be significantly slowed down.
